WestWind began as a family home, built by a young architect who loved the southern landscape. Majestic oaks and fragrant gardens surround it. We restored the house to keep its charm and added modern comforts along the way. You aren’t decorating a blank room here, because the character is already in place, and the mansion makes a great backdrop for portraits.
Photo Spots Without Leaving the Property
We have several photo locations on the grounds. The estate lawn, the gardens, the poolside area, and the historic house itself all work as backdrops, so your photographer stays on site the whole day. Our Classic package includes the poolside and mansion areas as part of your photography plan. Walk the property on your tour and pick the spots you want in your album.
Spaces That Let Your Day Flow
You can have your ceremony outdoors on the lawn and your reception inside the same property. Our wedding packages include the first floor of the house, and the banquet hall has high ceilings and large windows, so it works well for dinner and dancing. Your caterer gets a kitchen staging area to work from. We host up to 100 guests in Classic and Grand, and up to 130 in Signature.
Getting Ready in the Suites
Our packages include a private bridal suite and a private groom’s suite, so each of you has your own space to get ready. We also have six named suites on the property, and each one has its own look and feel. The Emerald Suite, for example, has vintage wallpaper, hardwood floors, a hand carved bed with gold accents, and big windows full of natural light. Overnight stays are available as an add on.

Every package comes with a professional day of coordinator who keeps your timeline on track and stays in touch with your vendors. At WestWind Estate, our packages cover tables, white folding chairs, linens, dinnerware, glassware, a welcome sign, a champagne wall, a buffet dinner for up to 100 guests, and a DJ with an emcee for up to five hours. Videography, wedding cake, and bartending are add ons in our smaller packages, and our Grand package includes them. A tent is an extra cost if you want one.
